About Regent Education Group of Myanmar
Regent was founded in 2002 by Mr. Kevin Wang on his return to Myanmar after many years of overseas education. His 8 years of worldwide education includes 2 years at Oxford and 3 years at the London School of Economics & Political Science. Regent is the direct result of Mr. Wang’s years of educational experience, knowledge and interest in helping students.
Regent Education Group consists of five business units.
Regent Consultancy Services Co. Ltd
Started out in 2002 to help Myanmar students with oversea educational alternatives. Since then, we have helped many Myanmar students to continue their education at many world-class institutions – including Cambridge University, Imperial College, University College London, London School of Economics, King’s College London, and Warwick University in UK; Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Columbia University, and New York University in USA; University of Queensland and Monash University in Australia; and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
Regent Business Academy (RBA)
Founded in 2007 to provide quality Business education locally to Myanmar students. Since then, RBA has been offering International Diploma in Business (IDB) and International Advanced Diploma in Business (IADB), awarded by NCC Education, UK, and Regent’s own Foundation Certificates in Business (FCB) and in Fashion Design and Marketing (FDM). Our students have achieved outstanding results every year in their NCC Education examinations ever since. In 2008, one of our students achieved South East Asia Regional High Achiever award for IDB and another student for IADB in 2009. In 2010, two our our students achieved Global High Achiever award and Roll of Honour award for IDB. Building on its academic success, RBA is offering a top-up honours business degree locally from a reputable British University in 2012.
Study Abroad Information Centre
Started in 2009 to focus particularly in helping Myanmar students to continue their education in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and China as well as selected few colleges and universities in the UK and Australia.
Career Pass Job Training Centre
Also formed in 2009 with the purpose of providing necessary business/job skills to majority of local Myanmar workforce by offering short courses/training in Business related areas.
Regent Elite Academy (REA)
Recently founded in 2010 to provide British Secondary Education locally to Myanmar students, in collaboration with Cambridge Tutors College (UK), preparing Myanmar students for IGCSE qualification. This will enhance Regent Consultancy’s long-standing achievement in helping Myanmar students to gain entry into top universities around the world. We are committed to developing people of Myanmar through education and training.
